This is influenced by a Halloween dream I had that was probably influenced by the 1971 movie The Omega Man, staring Charlton Heston where much of the world has been devastated by biological war. Almost everybody has died from the plague except Dr. Robert Neville (Charlton Heston), who discovered a vaccine just in the nick of time. Those who have not died are in an albino/ morlock/ vampire zombie like state before they too succumb to the plague. Neville has prepared himself pretty well, turning his house into a fortress to protect himself from the rabid zombie hordes.

In my dream, however, the plague takes places in the far future so I got access to a lot of high tech computer stuff as well as a heavily-fortified warehouse. Unfortunately the mutants have evolved to point of super scientific, mega mind brilliance, and they're not the stereotypically evil and emo-intense organization, but a group of happy comrades, delighting in every malevolent and vicious action they take!

I alsohave plans of using this work in a new graphic novel titled The Basement of Doom. This one of the beginning pages. Here's one the pages>[link]

I remember far back when the channel had some good movies and programs, but that's now all in the past with the wrestling shows and Z-grade movies that have taken over.

Yes, it's really quite weird. Why is there so much reality shows and wrestling lately? What has this all have to do with Science Fiction? Wrestling should just be on TBS or TNT. Reality shows I don't consider as Science Fiction anyway. I really miss the old stories and movies. Where did it all go? That's why I quit watching the channel in the first place. It just got really lame.
