Artist's Comments

A more detailed portrait of Doctor Meldreck Akern otherwise known as "Jellidar." His home is a former insane asylum, an humongous castle-like complex with a rather unfortunate history. I'm still thinking up a name for this place; it's out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by rolling hills and dark forests. Although Jellidar often tampers with the laws of nature and is a creature of darkness who enjoys inspiring terror in mortals, he is also very skilled healer, sought out by rich and poor fey alike.
The reason I started drawing this character again is to alleviate some artistic block in my Cold Curse Files story, plus I'm trying not get stuck on doing one project.
