Artist's CommentsMy entry for The book tells the story of a wood mouse named Mrs. Tittlemouse and her desperate efforts to keep a tidy house despite numerous, unwanted visitors including a sloppy wet toad named Mr. Jackson. The obsessive-compulsive Mrs. Tittlemouse also made her first appearance in The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies. This scene depicts one of the many storage rooms in Mrs. Tittlemouse's house. I had to look in one of my nature books in order to get a good reference on horse chestnuts. Comments

-- Behold one of nature's biggest mistakes, The Fly: small, fast, annoying and exceedingly fun to annihilate with a swatter! Ah ha! *SPLAT!* Sooo...felt-tip sketches anyone? [link] |
