This came about as a result of watching Marble Hornets on YouTube and a severe case of artist's block.

The original concept of this creature was created on the Something Awful forums on June 8, 2009 by a user under the name of Victor Surge, as part of a discussion encouraging users to create paranormal images. The idea then took off like a virus and is now infecting the imagination of thousands of users,spawning three YouTube movies leading even to perhaps tulpas or thought-forms of this beast.
