<p>I'm trying to incorporate this really creepy dream I had yesterday night into the 
projects. It concerns a cursed costume, a Kabuki fox costume to be exact, according to the legend, in the days of Tokugawa, an actor is filled with jealousy at the thought of this other actor getting all the good parts as well as hordes of admirers. So this guy goes to this witch who gives him this poisonous concoction to coat the inside of the fox costume his rival was going to wear for the upcoming play. Well, instead of causing him to drop dead right away, the rival went crazy right in the middle of the play and began attacking anyone in sight. Eventually, he ran out into the street where he was cut down by a group of samurai. So the costume ended up stuffed into a large, wooden book and labeled as police evidence. But the perpetrator of this monstrous crime wasn't caught because he very clever at covering up his tracks. Years passed, and Japan eventually opened up to the outside world, and the costume was shipped away to America. It ended up in collection of this Japanese historian who, knowing of the curse, kept it locked up in this glass display case. Eventually, the story about the haunted Kabuki costume reached the ears of this extremely angry and pessimistic upper-middle-class teenage girl. Basically, she hated her life--she hated her homely looks, she hated being included with the really lame, unpopular kids, but most of all she hated how she had to take care of her mentally handicapped younger brother. The emo girl persuaded her best friend who was also the Japanese historian's daughter to show her the costume. Much later, while the Japanese family was out visiting relatives, the emo girl breaks into the house and steals the costume, she tries to get her brother to wear it but he puts up a big fight that she was forced to give up. Not wanting to caught with the thing, she goes over to another kid's house on the excuse of helping out with the Halloween decorations and sneaks the costume into his closet. From there, the story gets even more involved and terrifying--it's like the cross between a werewolf curse and The Grudge/ Ring saga. Depending on how long a person wears this costume, they start developing fox-like features--slitted eyes and wide grim similar to Glasgow smile, and that's if they're lucky to get out the costume in time. If they don't get out, then it attaches itself to the person and they become a monstrous creature like a werewolf. Pretty scary, isn't it?
