Yama-uba and Company

Description

Yama-uba ( mountain crone) is a yōkai ("spirit" or "monster") found in Japanese folklore. The name may also be spelled Yamamba or Yamanba.
She is said to look like an old woman usually hideous with long and golden white, unkempt hair, and her kimono (usually red) is filthy and tattered. Her mouth is sometimes said to stretch from ear to ear, and some depictions give her a second mouth at the top of her head. She is able to change her appearance through magic, and often uses this tactic in capturing her victims(lost traveler or children).

In my version, the Yama-uba is accompanied by other yōkai--a tengu, a horse-headed oni and really small kitsune.

Nice detail job! ^^

They look all tourmented, all ''ugly'' like if they were bad spirits. The human in the middle looks like the leader, I don't know why...

You really inspired yourself of true legends? that's interesting :)

Anyway! great work of details and patience. The only thing to get better is the face of the human.. it looks really old and distorted..

Briefly, this work is amaising and really strange! :P
